A prison sentence becomes the doorway to MythOS, a strange subterranean world where industrial labs, forgotten tunnels, and surreal test chambers hide a larger conspiracy. BONELAB is a physics-driven VR action adventure built around the feeling that nearly every object has weight, momentum, and a practical use. Its mood shifts constantly, moving from eerie exploration and environmental storytelling to chaotic arena fights and gleefully improvised sandbox action. The campaign is deliberately cryptic, rewarding players who enjoy piecing together clues rather than receiving every answer immediately.

Most of your time goes into navigating obstacle-filled environments, solving physical problems, scavenging weapons, and fighting hostile constructs at close range or from a distance. Guns, melee tools, and improvised objects all behave according to the game’s demanding physics, so a brawl can turn into a clumsy struggle for balance as easily as a slick action sequence. The standout Bodylog system lets you swap between collected avatars with different sizes and physical traits, affecting reach, speed, strength, and how you fit through the environment. Beyond the story missions, BONELAB includes combat arenas, parkour-style trials, experimental minigames, and sandbox spaces, while its mod-focused foundation supports custom avatars, maps, items, and community creations.

It inherits the experimental spirit of Boneworks, but offers more ways to play, more character customization, and a structure that encourages players to test the limits of its systems.
