Its tone is pulpy, violent, and unapologetically old-school: hold the line against swarms, salvage resources, and turn a fragile base into an absurdly lethal fortress. Missions move between sharply different settings, including ruined cities, zombie-infested streets, and hostile underground installations.

Each map revolves around stopping enemy waves before they overwhelm key defensive routes. Players place and improve a varied arsenal of machine guns, fusion mortars, Tesla-based structures, mines, and other specialized towers, then react to changing pressure points with active support abilities. Mining provides the economy needed to expand quickly or power up defenses during a crisis, while persistent upgrades let players invest in better range, damage, durability, critical-hit potential, and more between missions.
