A rabbit, a monkey, and a time-travelling refrigerator form the delightfully odd heart of this colourful 3D platforming adventure. Clive and his mechanically minded partner Wrench chase the villainous Dr. Daucus across history after he steals plans for time travel and begins hunting powerful Ancient Stones. The tone is knowingly cartoonish, with broad villains, eccentric allies, and worlds built around exaggerated versions of familiar eras. Rather than aiming for gritty stakes, Clive ’N’ Wrench delivers a cheerful, old-school collectathon built around constant movement and curiosity.

Players guide Clive through eleven themed stages spanning locations such as icy prehistoric landscapes and trap-filled ancient Egyptian ruins. Each level asks you to run, jump, climb, search off the main route, and gather Pocket Watches, Keys, and the all-important Ancient Stones while dealing with hazards and enemies. Clive’s agile parkour-focused moveset gives traversal more personality than a basic jump-and-stomp formula, while Wrench contributes the Chimp Chopper, a useful aerial move that helps extend jumps and negotiate vertical spaces. Boss encounters break up the collecting with more mechanically focused challenges, so progress is not solely about sweeping every corner of a level.
