ENDLESS Dungeon blends twin-stick shooting, roguelite progression, squad tactics, and lane-based tower defense inside the colorful but unforgiving ENDLESS universe. The goal sounds simple—escort a fragile crystal-powered bot toward the station’s Core and escape—but swarms of aliens, machines, and other hazards make every run a calculated risk. Its tone balances grim space-ruin mystery with eccentric heroes, sharp dialogue, and satisfying sci-fi mayhem.

Runs revolve around guiding the crystal bot through randomized sectors, scavenging resources, activating nodes, and defending chokepoints while it advances. Players directly control one member of a three-hero squad, swapping between characters to use their distinctive weapons, skills, and roles; a sturdy defender, healer, or explosive specialist can completely change a strategy. Turrets are essential rather than optional, demanding smart placement, resource management, and an awareness of which routes enemies use when the next wave arrives. Death returns the crew to a social hub where permanent upgrades, new weapons, hero conversations, and fresh routes gradually make later attempts more manageable, while online co-op supports up to three players coordinating the chaos together.

The strongest idea is the constant tug-of-war between pushing deeper for supplies and holding back to prepare a defensible position. Unlike a pure action roguelite such as Hades, success depends as much on map control and defensive planning as fast aiming, and unlike traditional tower defense games, players are always in the middle of the firefight.
