What separates it from lighter dating sims is its willingness to make player agency feel threatening: a seemingly small decision can reshape the protagonist’s future in brutal ways. Side stories, alternate-perspective scenes, character-history scenarios, and unusual what-if branches provide substantial reasons to revisit completed routes, while CG illustrations and meta-focused images reward exploration. Optional censorship softens some violent descriptions and skips graphic sexual scenes, though it does not transform the story into an all-ages experience.
