A former mountain adventurer now trapped in a ram’s body, Boe turns a familiar block-pushing puzzle format into a charmingly strange rescue mission. His enemy is an ice demon that has imprisoned souls within rune stones, and each compact stage asks you to return those spirits to a magical revival well. The result is a lighthearted, cartoon-styled adventure with a surprisingly demanding brain behind its woolly mascot. RAM BOE balances silly character humor and cozy presentation against puzzles that can become genuinely punishing once the board fills with obstacles.

Each level revolves around shoving rune blocks across a grid, but success is not as simple as matching crates to highlighted targets. Stones need to be brought together, arranged carefully, and ultimately delivered to the well, forcing you to think several moves ahead and protect yourself from irreversible mistakes. Boe moves with either keyboard or gamepad controls, making it easy to play in short sessions while still supporting long stretches of trial, error, and eventual breakthroughs. Seventy built-in stages provide a substantial single-player challenge, with later puzzles demanding careful route planning rather than quick reflexes.

The key difference from traditional Sokoban lies in the way blocks interact and converge, which gives every level a more layered objective than simply parking objects in place. Its bright, chunky visuals and Kevin MacLeod soundtrack keep the mood accessible even when a puzzle has you staring at the same corner for ten minutes. A level editor and Workshop integration add real longevity, allowing players to create, upload, and tackle community-made layouts after finishing the main selection.
