The mood is deliberately nerve-racking: victory matters, but pushing the world into nuclear annihilation can ruin everything.

Each turn revolves around spending limited political, military, economic, intelligence, and diplomatic resources to expand influence and undermine the rival superpower. Players recruit historical figures with specialized perks, direct research into missiles, space technology, and military hardware, and react to plausible international crises as they emerge.
