Cases also ask you to link deductions into Logic Chains, keep Colton’s Stress Grid under control, and handle the card-driven Peacekeeping system. The central competition constantly changes the rules, moving from evidence auctions and escape scenarios to poker matches, unusual duels, and bespoke puzzles, so success depends on reading situations as much as spotting clues.

Its greatest strength is variety: the game packs dozens of distinct Encounters across 25 chapters, and many of them introduce a fresh mechanical twist instead of recycling one debate format. The vivid, theatrical setting gives it the tense personality of Ace Attorney, while its ghostly threats, competitive social climbing, and stranger minigames push it into much more experimental territory.
