Beneath its relaxed 1-bit presentation sits a steadily stranger story involving questionable coworkers, internal sabotage, friendship, and a murder investigation that refuses to stay sensible. The tone balances dry workplace comedy with mounting paranoia, making every stamped approval feel slightly suspect.

Each shift revolves around checking cards against guideline sheets, correction notices, and reference materials before deciding whether they are legitimate. Valid cards need the correct value assigned, while fakes, errors, and rule-breaking oddities belong in the shredder; mistakes cost money and eventually put your job on the line. Story Mode introduces the fundamentals gradually, then adds modifiers that complicate the process by changing how information is presented and forcing closer observation. Endless Mode turns that knowledge into a risk-management challenge, letting you activate unlocked complications for higher payouts while chasing scores and trying not to die at your desk.

The biggest draw is the card collection itself: more than 160 hand-drawn creations give the game a distinctive, deliberately goofy identity, and their gallery entries add extra flavour beyond the inspection screen. Its monochrome-inspired art is also more flexible than it first appears, with unlockable palettes, desk designs, and absurd little workspace decorations allowing a surprisingly personal setup. Rather than relying on fast reflexes, it tests attention, memory, and the ability to keep calm when corporate instructions become increasingly contradictory.
