Danger escalates whenever Hank, a violent host who relentlessly tracks Kate, closes in; these sequences demand quick reactions, careful hiding, and smart use of the environment instead of conventional gunplay. Progression is primarily narrative, with new areas and revelations unfolding as Kate pieces together the truth behind Delos and her own awakening.

What separates it from a standard licensed VR tie-in is its focus on the show’s central ideas: identity, control, memory, and the cruelty hidden beneath polished technology. The game recreates recognizable Mesa spaces without requiring players to know every detail of the series, though Season 2 viewers gain extra context from the references and atmosphere.
