A mountain shrine becomes the center of a slow-burning supernatural mystery where family history, childhood trauma, and old folklore collide. Mai Sagara, a junior high student with the unsettling ability to perceive things others cannot, arrives at her grandparents’ home only to be drawn toward the forbidden Yotsume Shrine. Two eerie children and a hostile, enigmatic boy pull her deeper into a curse surrounding the “unwanted child” said to be claimed by the Yotsume God.
